Full colour printing uses cyan, magenta, yellow and black inks to create a full spectrum of colour. Save all photos and images as CMYK and convert all Pantone colour's to CMYK. If you are unable to do this, let us know when placing the order.

Ensure bleeds are added, and images are the correct resolution.

PDF Instructions

Docuprint is continually exploring new technologies to continue to be Newton's top choice for printing. We have adopted a full PDF workflow in our pre press, digital document center, and press room. Experience has shown that a PDF workflow helps to ensure error-free documents while maximizing quality and efficiency.

Every customer-supplied PageMaker document is converted to PDF by our pre press technicians using PageMaker's built-in PDF engine. If you wish to complete this step yourself, follow the Supplying a PDF from Adobe PageMaker instructions. If your document has bleeds, it is imperative to create your PDF file with crop marks and bleeds enabled.

PageMaker Instructions

In PageMaker, select Save As from the File pull-down menu.
Save the file with the same name and location as your current file, but select the Files Required for Remote Printing option. This will create a file called Trackvals.bin in the same folder.

Supply the following:
1. PageMaker document
2. The newly-created Trackvals.bin file
3. All links imported into the PageMaker file, including embedded images. This will aid in troubleshooting and/or colour correction.
4. All fonts used within the document.
5. A PDF or hard-copy sample is recommended but not required.
