Full colour printing uses cyan, magenta, yellow and black inks to create a full spectrum of colour. Save all photos and images as CMYK and convert all Pantone colour's to CMYK. If you are unable to do this, let us know when placing the order.

Ensure bleeds are added, and images are the correct resolution.

PDF Instructions

Docuprint is continually exploring new technologies to continue to be Newton's top choice for printing. We have adopted a full PDF workflow in our pre press, digital document center, and press room. Experience has shown that a PDF workflow helps to ensure error-free documents while maximizing quality and efficiency.

Every customer-supplied QuarkXPress document is converted to PDF by our pre press technicians using Quark's built-in PDF engine. If you wish to complete this step yourself, follow the Supplying a PDF from QuarkXPress instructions. If your document has bleeds, it is imperative to create your PDF file with crop marks and bleeds enabled.

QuarkXPress Instructions

In QuarkXPress, select Collect for Output from the File pull-down menu.

The following will appear.

Navigate to the folder in which you desire collected QuarkXPress items to be copied. Be sure you know where this folder is located because you will need to navigate to it when uploading the file or burning a CD.
Under the Collect heading, check all of the boxes on.
Choose a different file name, or leave it the same as your Illustrator document.

Click Save. The following alert message will appear:

Click OK. Your files will be collected for output. This is an example of the files and folders you will need to send to Docuprint:
